Agatha All Along's Wiccan Joins MCU Heroes for Young Avengers Movie Concept Art (2025)

Agatha All Along finally confirmed that Teen is really Wiccan, adding another next-gen MCU superhero to the Young Avenger's prospective lineup. One fan created a concept mockup of what that movie poster might look like.

A Young Avengers movie poster is gaining traction on Instagram for featuring seven next-generation MCU characters. Marvel Studios has yet to confirm that superhero team's lineup, but one fan jumped the gun with inspired concept art. The fan-made poster assembles Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop, Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan, Jack Veal's Kid Loki, Kathryn Newton's Cassie Lang, Dominique Thorne's Riri Williams, Xochitl Gomez's America Chavez, and Joe Locke's Billy Maximoff; the MCU recently confirmed Locke's character as Wiccan in Agatha All Along, reinforcing the show's throughline with WandaVision and Vision Quest.

The concept poster highlights one fan's favorites, but Wiccan deserves a spot in the official ensemble. He brings the supernatural into the team similar to what his mother Scarlet Witch did for the Avengers. Marvel Studios hinted at where the MCU is heading with Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars, which delve deeper into the comics' multiverse and cosmic storylines. The MCU has yet to explore the mystical; while Doctor Strange and Multiverse of Madness featured this with their darker arcs, Marvel Studios has yet to lean on that approach outside of Moon Knight and Werewolf By Night. Wiccan's arrival could bolster the MCU's venture into the supernatural.

Wiccan Actor Teases More Reveals Before Agatha All Along Finale

Locke admitted that Teen's true identity was an open secret among Marvel fans. Reflecting on Wiccan's reveal in Agatha All Along Episode 5, he's relieved that he can now speak openly about his character's arc. "It's nice also because, like, everyone knew," he told The Wrap. "So having to bat all the questions of it, actually, it makes it harder when it's like a bad, badly kept secret, because I can't say anything. We both know, me and the interviewer, we both know, but I can't. So now it's like (exhales) 'Don't have to play that game anymore.'" He asserted the show still has secrets to unpack leading to the finale, though. "Well, we have three episodes left, so definitely some things still left," he added.

Fans have been speculating over the Young Avengers' lineup since that project was announced. Kamala Khan and Kate Bishop are confirmed while Cassie Lang is hinted at, leaving at least three more slots for a core ensemble. Aside from the characters depicted in the fan-made poster, the MCU could also flesh out Skaar, Iron Lad, Speed, and Phyla-Vel's story arcs.

Locke is excited at the opportunity of joining the Young Avengers cast. “I think Ms. Marvel is a really cool character, and I think that her and Billy would get along well,” he told Cinemablend. “If I got the chance to do something like that, I don't think I'd care. A chance to play Billy again? I don't really mind what form it's in. Yeah. I had the best experience shooting, and I love playing the character, so I'd take it in any form.”

Young Avengers currently does not have a release date.
